Merced Shakespearefest

We are pleased to announce three live shows in 2022 as we celebrate our 22nd season of Shakespeare in Merced!

First up is "Pericles: Prince of Tyre."  This play that features romance, pirates, and turbulent travels will be on stage for two weeks in the Spring starting March 4th.

This summer, Free Shakespeare in the Park is back with a presentation of the tale of rebellion and political intrigue of "Henry IV" in June.

And in October, Merced Shakes is pleased to present "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Merced Theatre.  A favorite of audiences world wide, it is a story of the real world and the supernatural colliding resulting in misunderstandings, unexpected romances, and comedy.
