Up Next - La Vida es Sueno/Life is a Dream
Opening October 19th, La vida es sueño/Life is a Dream is a new adaptation of Calderón de la Barca's classic play, presented as a collaboration between Merced Shakes and the UC Merced Spanish Program.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance through Eventbrite.

Previous Show - Twelfth Night
Thank you to the cast, crew, and all the wonderful audience members who came out for out 2024 FREE Shakespeare in the Park! We are so pleased with the continuing success of our summer shows and the excitement for Shakespeare they always bring.
Collaboration with Merced Symphony
Sundays with the Symphony had its premiere on Sunday, May 19th, at 7 pm at the Mainzer Theater. It featured the amazingly talented pianist John Wilson with a carefully crafted repertoire and selections of Shakespeare's works, monologues and sonnets, spoken by Colton Dennis, Alyssa McCabe, and Heike Hambley. This collaboration dealt with themes of love, under the title "If music be the food of love, play on."
